Rings from Coins

Rings from Coins → Getting a flat metal, such as a coin, and turning it into a ring, which still has all the features of the coin, is not the easiest thing to do. At least, theoretically. Because if you see Susanne Phillips from Wexford in Ireland, things seem very simple if you have the talent and the right tools.

Susanne began, as she writes, this stunning and original ring construction about four years ago. She spent most of her free time trying to perfect the rings and gave a lot of money to get better tools. She first showed her work to her friends and family, who encouraged her to do a profession, this peculiar creation. Since 2016 she has made my website www.celticcoincraft.com and manufactures hundreds of rings for her customers around the world.

"I get requests for rings from currencies from specific countries and I love the challenge of finding the currency and making a ring that will be really special to someone," Susanne says.
What you think? Is it right to interfere with the currency of the country?
